Kora outfit Timeline

Oh Kora. She's grown over the years Note that my proportions for drawing children is terrible, and just my proportions in general have been bad lately. So sorry about that.

Age 4- Quiet, but curious like any regular toddler. I inked this in, what, 30 seconds? I didn't even have the bear in the sketch. Sorry for crappy quality.

Age 8- Note the bangs. That was the very first way I drew Kora's bangs. Did you know she was inspired through a dress-up game? At first she was just a dress up doll, but then.... well, when you go to a dress-up game and do the same outfit every time, a character is born. So this was one of her outfit variations. The jacket is actually supposed to be black... but whatever.

Kora at what, 13years? Yeah, makes sense. This design I only drew once or twice, but I thought I'd make this the official instead of the really slutty design I thought was "cool" when I made Kora.

Age14-15- This was Kora's general outfit for when I drew her. It's simple, and the vest was inspired by snowboarding vests and jackets, because I really liked the collars.

(Note, the gap in between her fourth and fifth outfit, as well as the 1year age gap is when Kora was hospitalized for almost a year after suffering major burns to her back and legs)

Age 17-18 Her new outfit. Gives her a sleeker, more grown-up look while minimizing open skin on her legs, arms, and back because of the burn wounds. I wanted to include straps and buckles and shit in this one, and gloves too. Notice the cocky attitude, which she uses to hide her embarrassment and shame of her burns, which she finds abominating and horrid. She also has this (not so) new attitude to make it seem as if nothing ever happened and that she brushed it off with ease.

Age 18-20 Her shiny brand spanking new costume, which is basically her old outfit, but with a sexy new crisp white coat with jet-black trim, new gloves, and new shoes. I love her pose and how it came out! I don't know what's going on with her leg, though. But she's softened up slightly, but is cool, confident, and deadly. She's now brilliant, and aces in genjutsu and works undercover creating strategies for the Anbu Black Ops.
